Project Management Fundamentals Course
Welcome
Thank you for your interest in our project management fundamentals course. While it does not result in any specific certification, it is a good start on that path. This course is held via Zoom and Black Diamond Charities provides all materials needed for class. There are no prerequisites or pre-study requirements.
Who Qualifies?
US Military -- Honorably discharged Veterans, active duty/reserve/NG unit members, and spouses. Even if you served years ago, you are eligible.
Setting Expectations
The BDC course is focused on project management fundamentals.
It is not designed to prepare specifically to pass the PMP or any other certification exam.
A plan for follow-up studying to prepare for the CAPM & PMP will be discussed.
The course runs three consecutive Saturdays either in March or October.
Classes are 9 am to 5 pm Central Time each Saturday and meet virtually using Zoom.
The course will also require approximately 1 to 3 hours of work between weekly classes.
Your schedule must support this time commitment.
